What we collect
When you send a pickup request or cleaning quote request, we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number, ZIP code, the service you’re asking about, and any optional details such as email, preferred date and notes.
To limit spam, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your connection’s IP address for up to one hour. We don’t store the IP address itself.
How we use it
- To contact you about your request, confirm your address and schedule service.
- To keep a record of requests so we don’t miss one.
We don’t sell your information. We don’t add you to marketing emails or text messages from a website request. If we ever offer those, we’ll ask for your permission separately.
Who can see it
Requests are stored on our web host. After you submit a form, you choose to send the details to us by WhatsApp or text message. Those messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) or your phone carrier under their own privacy terms. Only The Wishy Wash team uses your request.
The WhatsApp chat button opens WhatsApp with a short greeting. Nothing is sent until you press Send in WhatsApp.
How long we keep it
Website request records are deleted automatically after 365 days. Information about orders you place with us may be kept longer for our business records.
Analytics and cookies
The site doesn’t use Google Analytics or advertising trackers.
We count visits on our own server, without cookies. We record which page was viewed, the website you came from, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer), the page language and taps on buttons like Call or WhatsApp. We don’t store your IP address or anything you type, and search-engine bots aren’t counted. These counts are kept for about 13 months.
The forms set one session cookie that keeps the form secure. It’s deleted when you close your browser.
